At school my art teacher used to despair at my lack of artistic talent. My drawing & painting skills literally stopped developing when I was about 10. So to discover my 'eye' lay in the creation and design of silver jewellery was a bit of a shock!

After leaving the RAF to be a full time mum, my sentimental streak grew with my family and I started to explore ways of capturing precious memories of when my family were little. With the help of a local ceramics company & a lot of training courses, Impressions to Keep was born.

Initially I specialised in taking hand & footprint impressions in wet slab clay, there were handprints on plates, mugs, teapots and the garage was filled with racks of bisque, glazes, clay and a whopping kiln.

A posting overseas saw me needing to downsize & I discovered silver clay. I have never looked back.
